Get started with domains
Find your domain, check its status, and open the right controls in the Dashio Admin Portal.
3 min readOpen your domain
Sign in to Dashio, select the Space that owns your domain, and open Admin Portal → Domains. The list shows the domains belonging to the selected Space. Select a domain to open its Domain Center.
The Domain Center includes Overview, Contacts, Nameservers, and Addons. The Overview contains the DNS record editor, renewal settings, and outgoing transfer controls.
If a domain is missing, check the selected Space first. Switching Spaces changes the assets you can manage. If you still cannot find it, ask the Space owner or administrator to confirm that you have access.
Register a domain
Open Dashio’s domain search, enter the name you want, and review its availability and price. Choose an available domain and continue through checkout. Use the Space and registrant information requested by the checkout.
Treat the checkout result and the domain’s status as the confirmation. A registration request may still need provider processing or registrant verification before the domain becomes active. Follow any verification instructions shown in the Domain Center or sent to the registrant’s email address.
Check the details
In Overview, review the domain’s status, expiration date, and renewal state. In Contacts, review the registrant and other contacts required for the domain. Use accurate contact information and complete email verification when requested.
Check Nameservers before changing DNS. If the domain uses a different DNS provider’s nameservers, records edited in Dashio’s zone do not control the public answers from that other provider.
Choose your next task
- Add or update DNS records to connect a website, mail provider, or verification service.
- Change nameservers to choose which provider serves your DNS.
- Manage renewals and outgoing transfers to keep the domain registered or move it to another registrar.
When a registration is pending
Read the status notice in the Domain Center before submitting another order. Check registrant verification and any requested payment action. Provider processing can take time; repeated registration attempts do not complete an existing request faster.
