Install your email signature

Fill in your details on the published employee page, export the signature, and install it in your mail client.

Use the employee link shared by your marketing or IT team. If it shows Signature generator unavailable, ask them to confirm that the link is current and the generator is published.

Select your location and fill in the available employee fields. The company template controls which fields and layout you can use. Correct any message under Before exporting your signature.

Your personal entries are remembered in the current browser tab until you close it. They are not stored on Dashio’s servers. Select Clear my details to remove them sooner, especially when using a shared computer.

Choose an export

Check the preview, then use its copy or download actions.

  • Download email (.eml) includes uploaded images as inline attachments.
  • Download HTML saves a self-contained browser copy.
  • The copy action lets you paste the signature where your mail client supports rich content.

Browser copy and paste may remove embedded images. The email download includes the image files themselves, but the mail client still controls how content is copied, displayed, and forwarded.

Install in Outlook

  1. Complete your details and download the email file when you need its inline images.
  2. Open the file in a compatible email client. In new Outlook or Outlook on the web, you can drag it onto the reading pane. This opens a message; it does not install a signature.
  3. Open Outlook’s signature settings and create a signature. Copy the displayed signature into the editor. If an image is lost, insert its original file using Outlook’s image control.
  4. Select the signature for new messages and replies. Send a test email and check images, links, replies, and forwarded messages.

The exact settings depend on your Outlook version. The employee page links to Microsoft’s current signature instructions. Opening files in new Outlook may require a connection to Microsoft.

When the template changes

Reopen the employee link after your marketing team publishes an update, review your details, and install the new signature. The generator does not remotely update your mail-client settings.
